We met in 2014 when we literally bumped into each other at a restaurant while both out with our own friends. We started chatting and there was an instant connection.
Our Story
We quickly realized we had similar interests and backgrounds that made the instant attraction feel 'right.' We made a date for dinner days later, and we've been together ever since. That instant connection has lasted, grown and strengthened since the day we met - we will be together always.
We are both successful in our careers, offering a safe and stable home in the northeast.
Kathy is a nurse practitioner and Jimmy is a professor and attorney. While we both put a high value on education, we will encourage any child we are blessed with raising to follow their own path, knowing that they will always have our unconditional support in whatever they wish to aspire for.
We have a warm, happy home that we also share with our sweet, cuddly and energetic dog, Ollie, an 8-year-old Italian 'mini' greyhound. He's friendly, loves to play and is great with children. We just love that little guy.
We have wanted children from the start of our relationship.
We would love to share our lives and our home with a child, all together as one loving family. We both have so much kindness and love to give and can't wait to bring a baby, toddler or older child into our family.
With Kathy having two cousins who were adopted and Jimmy having a nephew that was adopted, we have seen firsthand just how wonderful and profoundly positive the possibility of adoption can be not only for the child, but for the adopting parents and for the entire family that are forever changed for the better.
We can promise that we will dedicate ourselves entirely and unconditionally to our adopted boy or girl.
We both had the fortune and privilege of growing up in waterside communities. Our child will enjoy the very same, with plenty of time in flip flops and on the beach in the summertime!
